β LISA is a recognized artist b 1924 in Vienna Austria and was well regarded in her exquisite choice of colors and her expression of the female form. A holocaust survivor and uplifting spirit, her work is a timeless study of beauty and her life affirming energy is imbued in all her work. Lisa died in 2016 in NYC. Her spirit lives on in her work.
A painter, muralist and long-time teacher at the New School of Social Research in New York, Anthony Toney was born to Syrian immigrants in Gloversville, New York. He earned a Bachelor's Degree from Syracuse University in 1934, and began teaching at the New School in 1952.
